She will oversee print, television, web and mobile strategy statewide.

She will oversee print, television, web and mobile strategy statewide.
Kathleen will be in charge of managing the overall direction of all Hawaii media, from marketing and advertising to circulation and editorial.
She will also work closely with sales representatives, with hotel partners and other distribution partners, and with advertisers statewide to continue the growth of Morris Visitor Publications.

Before joining Morris Visitor Publications, Pahinui served as a vice president of account services with Laird Christianson Advertising, where she worked for nearly 13 years. Prior to that, she held positions in advertising, marketing and sales. She serves on several boards and is active in the community.
She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her community work includes serving as board member and past chair of North Shore Neighborhood Board No. 27, president of Friends for Waialua Town, and member of the Waimea Valley Aha Hui. She lives in Waialua, Oahu with her husband, musician James “Bla” Pahinui.
